Ambulatory (Outpatient) Surgery Centers
Our ambulatory (outpatient) surgery centers are state-of-the-art facilities for patients having same-day surgery procedures.
In the ambulatory surgery center setting, procedures are performed using general anesthesia, and the patient is generally released to return home one to two hours after the procedure. The patient must be accompanied by a family member or other caretaker for the ride home.
These centers are a convenient, less disruptive and lower-cost alternative to surgery performed in a hospital or requiring an overnight hospital stay.
